Bridesmaid Boxes!

Part of planning a wedding is having your best girlfriends by your side on your big day.. For years I have seen pictures on Pinterest of different ways people asked someone to be their bridesmaid. I have always known I wanted to do something similar to the things I had seen, but put my own twist on it. This is what I came up with..

A few weeks back B went shed hunting with his friend Bodey so I stayed home and worked on wedding stuff. During that weekend I put together my bridesmaid boxes. Each of my girls got a fun little box mailed to them, dropped off on their porch, or delivered to their work.

Here is what was in each of my boxes..

Color Swatches - I went to my local paint store and got color swatch papers of all of my wedding colors. Seven of each color, one set for each bridesmaid and one for myself.

Nail Polish - Who doesn't want hot sparkly pink toes for spring and summer? (:

Notebook + Pen - For all of the little notes they will write down throughout the next 5 months (ie; appointments, dress measurements, important stuff, etc.)

Ring pop - My turn to pop the question now!

Watermelon gum - My absolute favorite gum, its even sugar free too!

A paper cutout with all the important dates, so far!

My favorite homemade body scrub - 1 1/2 to 2 part sugar, 1 part olive oil, baker coloring to give the pink hue, and a few drops of my favorite doTERRA Essential Oil, Serenity + Wild Orange.

Each package had tissue stuffing, white and pink confetti, a personal homemade card, topped with a sparkly gold bow! They turned out adorable, and my girls loved them! I could not be more excited to have these six wonderful ladies by my side on the most important day of my life.

This wedding planning stuff has been so fun and easy so far, knock on wood. Can July 17th just come sooner? (;
